Yesterday we finally collected Dottie, 3 weeks after our first visit.

She has settled in a lot better than I'd expected. She's already using the training pads without any accidents and out Cats don't seem to be that bothered by her.

Her first night was relatively stress free too. She woke three times to have a wee and slept through until about 7am. I found her happily playing in her basket when I went in to see her.

Dottie shortly after the beginning of her new adventure.

I love Border Terriers, They're ace. 😀

A red grizzle just like our Archie was when he was a pup, here's a shot from a while back I've not posted before

She's been an absolute joy today. I've had a smile on my face all day.

It's so rewarding teaching her stuff. Today we've been concentrating on Toilet training. She can now go out into the garden and wee, hasn't managed a poo yet though. Our back garden has a series of steps to navigate before reaching grass and she can now ascend and descend them without any trouble at all. 😀

She's currently howling away in her crate. I really want to see her but I know I can't until she's quite and settled. 😥

He is growing up nicely. Looking at him tonight I think it is time for hair stripping though.
I agree, Borders are ace!
