Now you tell me 🙂

Re the fave guitarists thing, it's something like (in no order except mebbe the order I came across 'em):

Alex Lifeson, Ted Nugent, Angus Young, Uli Roth, Pat Travers, Al Di Meola, EVH, Randy Rhodes, Vivian Campbell (Dio era), Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert (does quite a heavy version of a Paula Abdul tune !), George Lynch, Nuno Bettercourt..

..with liberal helpings in various years of John McLaughlin, Neil Schon (good call Plumb !), Joe Satriani, Alexi Laiho, Dimebag, Marty Friedman, Dave Mustaine (oh, and the dodgy couple from that 'other' band), plus Trower, Gallagher.

I guess that'll do for the moment !

Is this still open to submissions?

I can try and get some sax down over the weekend?

Some sax would be good, hoping to get it finished Wednesday night.

I do have the goatee, but not on steroids, it annoys mrs hummerlicious when it gets too long!

Mrs Jond took a while to get used to mine (had a shorter version for years), but has since realised it's a huge source of amusement on passing small children..they frequently exhibit a 'wtf is that ?' moment 😉

WOW 8)

That was amazing! Such different styles but all good, well done everyone 😆

I've really enjoyed following this (am not a guitar player though) and thanks to guitarhero for getting it off the ground. Please do it again.

Are we likely to hear the sax?

Well done everyone

I enjoyed putting this together. Really impressed by the contributions.

@CG Was hoping the sax was going to show up in time too. If the clip appears, maybe I could do a 12" remix.

@plumber. No tapping mate. I'm pretty pants at tapping so generally don't bother.

Good work everyone, I really enjoyed doing that 🙂

Thanks for sorting it all guitarhero, I think you may have played more notes than me, I shouldn't have restrained myself so much 😉

Wow! Great playing from everyone, and superbly mixed over an ace backing track by GH. Well done everyone. I invite you all back to mine for beers.

@guitarhero - superb job. I'm well impressed with the mixing. It sounds totally professional. Which it should 'cos you are. Thanks for all your hard work on this one. Good Karma.

@plumber - thanks 😀 I thought everyone played just great. Difficult to pick between them.... though I shall certainly be studying them all closer and stealing a lick or two. 😉

Could we have a virtual photo shoot of the players?

Excellent stuff 🙂

Good fun that..also seems to have helped harden up the fingertips which had got pretty soft - haven't done so much string bending for years !
