If you are watching youtube or the i player for example is that watching streamed content and how much does that eat into your download limit on your internet connection.

Pretty much exactly the same as if you'd downloaded the video file and watched it. i.e. It doesn't make much difference that it is streamed, a 5MB video is still roughly 5MB of your download limit.

Yes, streaming is just viewing while downloading.....so as GrahamS says - if the total file is 5Mb, it doesn't matter whether you download it and then watch it, or 'stream' it. It's still the same quantity of data.

It will depend on what you are streaming, as to how much it batters your download limit. Low quality radio, probably not too bad. HD film probably quite bad......
