MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
ok, here's the set up:
BT Broadband & home hub
Macbook Pro running safari (3.2.1)
iPod Touch
and this is the thing thats driving me mental:
the wife logs into gmail, then I log her out. I later go to do a search on google and it has automatically logged her back in?!?
I look in Safari and under autofill/usernames & passwords the google entry states: passwords never saved.
I had emptied safaris cache, binned all the cookies, even went to user/lib/cookies/ and deleted .plist
this has been happening for the past week and its driving me utterly mental, could it be that her iPod touch is negotiating a connection with google and signing in then google is sending back a logged in response? (I doubt it).
Help its driving me mental!! (It did it again, overnight though, I used the laptop last, logged her out, shut it down, went to bed, got up this morning and its fxxking logged her back in again!!)
HELP!!
tell her not to get up in the middle of the night and log in!!
You're going to have to come up with a better excuse than that when she finds you reading her mail.
It's a conspirecy
I wouldn't bother reading her mails, they are all about kittens and fluffy stuff and always in Spanish! 😀
It's the first stage of the Government's saving all your communications.
CZ, you may not be that far off the mark there! 😀
It's her iPod touch, when she logs in or it pulls email from gmail it somehow also sends her log in credentials to my laptop! thats not very secure now is it!!
Cached page and not actually logged in?
Hit F5?
AAARGGH!!
ok, so she's not using her touch, I'm on the web, go onto google, she's not logged in.
all auto passwords are off and cookies are erased.
browse for a while, go to do a search and she's logged in!
WHAT THE ****?!?!
I think its her iPod touch but how the hell would my MBP be intercepting the log in cookies? if thats happening then thats a serious security breach!
