[Closed] stone, pebble deposits blocking washing machine

Hi all
Recently moved house, washing machine has been stored. Used for the first time in 5 months. Water left in drum, on removing filter found small stones like build up

No we haven't washed thing's with stones in
Any experience out there?

Do you use those environmentally friendly plastic washing balls full of little stones?

They don't stay full for long.

No not hard water area, North East Wales, they seem to break up into either grit or sand. Put it down the machine fully drying out in storage.
Runnig the machine then clearing filter housing out eventually will flush through

Chuck some drain cleaner in there and put it on hot with nothing in.

That'll clean it out.

Or some limescale remover ( i know you said not in hard water area but worth a try)
