My mother could do way better, though she'd never admit it. But I suppose that art is entirely personal and so we have no right to judge.

I probably could if I put my mind to it. And I'm not very good at portraits.
Its a likeness. Depends on what purpose its serves, its recognisably Mr Hawkins, but as a portrait I doesn't really seem to say much about him.

I couldn't - I've not an arty bone in my body.
I quite like it, though I suspect the photo isn't doing it any favours. I would also like to know the actual size too but for the style it's not over worked and has some lovely markings. I think it captures his image quite well.
If you think you can paint a better portrait, what's stopping you? 🙂
Lego one is still my favourite, I like to think Hawkings likes it too.
