had one today as hurt my back Sunday evening and made it even worse yesterday at pole. I have never been in so much pain in a good way but oweeeieee 🙂 feel very sore now. Just explained it all to my mum who was quite disgusted that I had to wear just my pants and also quite amused when I said he finished off with some sort of vibrator and that was the best bit 😆 but seriously though does anyone else get the giggles when in pain like that? He was doing something to my spine which made something pop back into place but proper hurt and all I could was go 'omg ow!' and start laughing so much he had to let me compose myself! 😯

Lots of people are reduced to fits of giggles when they are in pain.

Mate of mine tried pole dancing once in a nightclub.

Trouble was, the stupid idiot tried it on a square steel girder, not an actual round pole. He hurt himself quite badly. 😐

I thought it was most hilarious though which is the main thing.

I tried it myself, once.

In the Queen's vaults in Cardiff, if anyone knows it...

I once had to visit a claimant and was a bit surprised that the only item of furniture in the front room was a pole dancing pole 😯

I wasn't as surprised as the Jehovah's Witness who'd called 10 minutes before - she mistook him for me - bloke in a suit with a clipboard - and ushered him straight in 😆

I wonder who converted who? 😉

Oh all the pies there are much better, real pole fails than that! That one is soooo fake 🙂

Anyway, about my back, I feel like I've had a right beating but assume that's normal? Apparently I had 6 vertebre(sp?) out?!

take the diagnosis with a big pinch of salt - infact I would be very wary of a masssage therapist who diagnosed like that.

Eeek really why!? I know nothing about this sort of stuff, first time I've ever been so didn't know what to expect. He's obviously done something right cuz although I feel like I've been beaten my back doesn't actually 'hurt' like it did.

First time you have sports massage it will hurt like hell. Most people don't do anywhere near enough stretching and massage just flushes out all the crap. You get used to it.

When I was having regular (about once a month) massages it was really good and my masseur was fantastic. She could tell exactly what exercise I'd been doing, what muscle imbalance was "normal" for me, problem areas etc and that only comes from experience and regular massage.

Once you're mostly fixed and you're onto preventative/remedial masssage, it just becomes relaxing rather than painful.

emma - because by conventional western medicine that sort of diagnosis is bunkum.

I wouldn't worry to much tho. Probably a muscle issue with your back and the massage is good for that
