Oh dear, made it as far as a bunch of porn stars covering Cameo, was so awful I've turned over. Is there a fight this year?
Well, some awful bits but when they showed one bit about an old chap who had lost his wife to Alzheimer's, Davina, who is normally soo annoying was in bits! Very emotional!
And the swimmer Sharon Davies....what's she done to her face?? Ugh!

Funnily enough, that was the only other bit I saw. Very touching.
Never mind Sharon Davies and her surgically modified face, whats that boy Tennant done with his hair?
omg have you seen david tennents hair
It can't be real, hair doesn't grow THAT fast!
Does it!
Hair extensions due to playing Richard III, I'm told.
It must be for the Pirate character in Broadchurch 2 😉
Yep, the bit with the old chap (didn't look 92 to be fair) who lost his childhood sweetheart was pretty moving.
I'm waiting for mock the week to rip it out of Andy Murray 🙂
All their appeal videos were pretty emotional, pretty much all of them had me in tears.
Kylie has still got it 🙂
Wtf is the point of this mastermind segment?
I used to look forward to this kind of thing, I just can't face it anymore.
has it changed, or is it me?
I caught the track cycling because I thought it might be fun but just ended up shouting at the TV.
I was involved in this a few years ago and watched the utter waste of funds spunked everywhere.
The whole point was originally it was for this country where Live Aid, Oxfam, etc went abroad.
So much is wasted on execs, directors, hotels it's a joke.
Don't get me started on how much of what gets raised leaves this country....
IMO - when we no longer need charity here then we can start worrying about the mess others have put themselves in
edit.
Over £51m raised last night. Pretty impressive.
I donated a fiver for Alex Jones' climb up that insane pinnacle in Utah. Fair play to the girl, as someone who has a real fear of heights (actually drops) & could NEVER even contemplate doing something like that i'm pretty impressed.

Living in a particular country does not make you special, it does not elevate your basic needs above those that find themselves in less fortunate circumstances due to an accident of birth. The very fact that people in Britain do genuinely need help despite all the services that are already available to them should make it obvious how desperate the situation can be for someone born in a country without adequate water, food, housing, heating, education and healthcare. Those people still have the same issues as every other member of humanity but those issues are compounded by the lack of the things we in the developed world take for granted.
I'd rather the money went to helping those with the greatest need rather than those that we feel the closest affinity to.
