I start a new job in January selling workshop consumables and plan on using the iPad as my appointment , contacts tool..
I need to keep track of seeing certain customers on various weeks I.e some every week some every fortnight , I also need to keep names and contact numbers and notes somewhere...
Excuse my ignorance about this but this new job is really really out of my comfort zone and I have never used the calendar , reminders tools on the iPad ...I have seen an app called fantastical 2 which looks good , anyone any experience on this ...also is there someway of keeping the business side of things separate on the pad , so my personal contacts etc are kept where they are and all the business contacts are somewhere else...
I'm jail broken if it helps ...
Any other business tools out there that could help ...

I use 2 sets of contacts
The iCloud contacts for personel names
And I then use my google contacts for work etc.

Obviously you'll need a Google account. you can add new Contacts accounts via the 'Mail, Contatc,Calendars' in settings. (Choose other then CardDav account). Here you can add Google setting or another carddav compatible online contacts list. (Yahoo works too)
When you have multiple contact profiles setup, you can hide/show the groups you want in the contact app.
However you can only create new contacts in one address book. You have to set a 'default account' in the settings. all new contacts get added there. You can change it to the other address book easily enough.
