Not sure if this has been done yet, but did anyone else have to endure this new TV show last night?

Absolutely the lowest form of 'entertainment' ever put on the box. Garbage concept full of drama queens (Omid was funny). Jo Brand was a diving judge FFS.

Before anyone chips in with 'you didn't have to watch it' or similar, I actually did as I was babysittting and the kids were watching it when we arrived.

Truly awful.

I want to see it, it sounds a laugh.

It's probably not intended to be taken too seriously.

I cannot believe there isn't a proper video of Bobby Davro's belly flop on YouTube.

It was actually that bad and cringeworthy I felt compelled to watch some of it, truly dreadful.

Jo Brand seems to be on everything these days. And she's more annoying than she used to be too.

The worst cheapest tv programe ever made for the working classes who may actually buy the products in the ad breaks.

Even a mole with fear of heights couldnt dig a hole biger than that absolute rubbish that was put on as some sort of entertainmnet last night.

Lets hope it drowns in its own cess pit of poor tv.

and who is the fat bloke in shorts and a shirt, with shaved legs, doing the purile comentry, get a grip man, and dress like a man.

We watched it in awe at how truly dreadful it was! It became sort of compelling to see how much worse it could get. Like an Adam Sandler film.

In the end I felt sorry for the people in the audience. If that's how boring, drawn out and pointless it felt when compressed into a TV programme, imagine enduring them filming it?!!!

Sadly yes, for about 20 minutes till i lost patience with any sort of apology appearing on screen to say sorry for what an absolute waste of time it was, or that it was a spoof show, made to fool the public into thinking it was entertainmnet.

Give it time for ITV's new family show - Celebrity spark plug challenge / washing up challenge / celebrity dog walking, and so on.

I can't remember the last thing worth watching on ITV in years.

How about Celebrity Taxi Ride?

Book a taxi at 3:00am and see which Z lister from a couple of years ago turns up behind the wheel of a Toyota Avensis full of air fresheners.

That's got legs Harry! You could also have a phone vote to see which taxi driver is the next to be arrested in the Jimmy Saville investigation!

I don't know what you are moaning about, Splash had EVERYTHING:

1) lame attempt to cash-in-on Olympic sporting endevours: YUP
2) B list celebrities: YUP
3) In skimpy outfits for the singles/dad market: YUP
4) Shameless attempt to rip off "strictly stylee" judging panel: YUP
5) No real content whatso ever: YUP
6) Whole show could have been done in 3min if the fafing and "dramatic pausing" had been left out: YUP

See, EVERYTHING !!! 😉

Yes we watched it, as Mrs FD used to dive. It was truly wonderfully bad. Jo Brand is passionate about swimming and loves the sport so not as far out there as you think.

Did every one else miss the bit where the judge who is a current diver was asked to say something more positive about Jenni Falconer and replied, 'shes got a lovely arse'

Just think, if Vernon hadn't sent all those mucky text messages he'd have got The One Show and Tess would let him touch her under the duvet again.

I watched it (but didn't listen, I had my headphones on and Ipod). It looked pretty bad.
Must have the highest ratio of filling to real action of any program. Six dives, each 1 sec long , in 1 hour(?) program, is a fill ratio of 0.0016.

There, scientific proof it's rubbish.

My kids watched it - full of Olympics and Tom Daly at the moment.

It was bad, but it was what we expected it to be.

Was it wrong that I discovered a bit of a thing for Jenni Falconer.....?

With that dilution, it's pretty much homoeopathic entertainment.

Sorry, it was 90 minutes, so fill ratio of 0.0011.
Good point Ian, more proof.

Pretty much supports all my reasons for never, ever watching a single one of these crappy shows.
That extends to every soap made since Crossroads, (my mum used to watch it).

Right, I was intrigued by this thread last week, so I thought I'd tune in and see what all the fuss was about.

It's ok, but it's no 'International Pro-Celebrity Crap In A Bucket' is it?

Not that I'm watching, or care, but was that a bit of a fix to get a female into the next round?
