Going to be more world/ US centric which is a bit of a shame but there you go.

Still, a "Trump that composes his tweets with his anus."

I'm in.👍

Awesome - but I think it needs an icon in the corner of the screen or something, just so we know when the satire is on.

Oops! Looks like I messed my topic up.

There will endless material for them from Boris and Trump alone.

I think contemporary politics is beyond satire.

This.

Don’t think I could stomach watching an hour of a foam puppet depicting LyingBloHard, simply because I don’t think I could tell the difference between it and the real life gonk.

🤷‍♂️

Gove played by an actor not a puppet?

Same here, have to turn any party political shit off the telly lately, there’s nothing remotely funny.

No, quite then opposite, I think it needs powerful satire to now point out what that the media are failing to do. How the likes of bojo, jrm and Gove have rissen to such powerful figures worshipped by millions of working class voters is beyond belief. Spitting image could destroy them in just a few shows, merely by pointing out exactly who they are.

Lets face it the most effective opposition campaign in recent years has been led by donkeys, not the political opposition or the media.

You can't satirize people who are already ridiculous.

What do you mean that's not 24 hour satire?

Honestly this lot are almost unskittable. I'm beginning to think someone has sprayed some parts of the population with some kind of nerve agent that affects their ability to detect unfettered lies and to take a balanced view of anything. So many extreme views.

The problem is if you bring it back now it will be labelled some traitorous, remoaner propaganda.

I'm sick of dystopian puppet shows but I'm still curious to see it.

Sorry, they’re a bit ****ing late. Better late than never. Maybe satire will be resurrected from the ashes? Hope for Generation Z?
