Dashing to the shops in about ten minutes or so, and am utterly devoid of ideas!

So, what should be put on the table at Flash Towers tonight? Guests arrive at around 1930, so limited preparation time...!

Nothing like leaving it until the last minute, is there?

Sausages and mash with curly-leafed kale, drowned in onion gravy. Bit of English on the side. Served with some nice ale, I'd go for some TT Landlord.

What weirdo wouldn't like that?

Oh, and assuming you haven't gone to the shops yet - hake with salsa verde and clams, served with braised fennel and garlic mash. Accompanied by a decent white.
