Just kidding 😉

Here's a nice little short which helps to explain what might go into creating a logo.

That was a cool vid Three Fish, I'm another field notes user (expedition issue) but i'm afraid my scribblings are not quite as productive as his - great wee books and there's always one in my bag wherever i go.

I pretty much wet myself laughing the first time I saw it

This is probably way off, but are field notes just artisan notepads for hipsters?

That's a little unkind; don't you think?

I'm either missing a joke, or have inadvertently caused offence with my reference to an ancient STW marketing thread (apologies if it's the latter, I didn't watch your video) ❓

Were your parents also killed by a giant purple O when you were a child? I thought I was the only one!

No offence taken, just thought you meant this:

It pains me to leave you in your solitude, but mine were taken in a freak, yoghurt-making accident.

Sorry to hear that. What a terrible whey to go.

Purple Circle

Every day is a school day.

FWIW, the callback was to this thread: Clicky.

+1

Thanks Jamie - I did look for it, but failed (got distracted by TJ vs MF arguethons)

Nope, you want Moleskine for that, Field Notes are pretty cheap, basic notepads.
Moleskine do a fairly nifty version that to draw or write in, then scan using a phone app, which digitises the writing or drawing.
Not cheap, though.

Probably not directly comparable, but you get three Field Notes in one pack, compared to one Moleskine.
I'm looking at getting the Moleskine that gives a digital copy, in leu of not having a fine tip stylus that I can scribble notes and sketches on my phone with.
