I was sat outside tonight enjoying a glass of wine (having thrown the first one over the carpet - red) and glanced up to see a star whizzing past. Having seen it before I figured the only thing that bright and that fast that doesn't flash is the ISS and ten seconds later using Spacejunk on Android my thoughts were confirmed.

It's back again over the next few nights - 2129 and 2305 tomorrow and 2212 on Friday and for the next few nights. Check out http://www.spaceweather.com for details and directions.

Coooooooool.

Just seen it zip past with another 2 following in hot pursuit...well about 4 minutes later, one on a similar trajectory (though not so bright) and the other with a more westerly heading.

Watch the skies!

Cloud broke just enough for me to see it for about 15-20 seconds then disappeared again.

So when I spotted 3 objects travelling above me whilst bivi'ing in Torridon.. what exactly was I looking at? They were all in the sky at the same time. Looked just as bright as each other too.
