Our house is a new build, built in 2015. During the summer months the trickle vents are very useful as the house is very air tight. However, during the winter they are just a source of drafts and really noisy during high winds. I'd like to replace the ones on at least one aspect of our house, the one that faces the prevailing wind.
I don't really want to block them up as we have them open all the time in some rooms during the warmer months. I would just like some that seal properly shut when needed.
However, I can't seem to find any available to buy that seem to offer an upgrade to the current ones.
Has anyone changed theirs for better ones?
