I can get all the other internet channels on my TV but iPlayer says it needs a software update. I have set the auto updates to on but it still wont work. Any ideas? Five on demand works great.

If not, just Google Sony Bravia iPlayer update for loads of other possibilities
Which model? I've got an 32EX403 and iPlayer worked out of the box.

don't think the b should make a differance as that just denotes it has a blu-ray player.
that update thing looks scary...disclaimers...chances of the tv needing repair if it goes wrong...surely it should update through the internet???
I had the same problem - in the end I downloaded the update onto a USB drive and plugged it into the back of the TV. Seemed to work OK.
