Haven't seen rain for weeks. And before that it hadn't rained for 11 months.

Yeah, I've resorted to drastic measures and opened the emergency box. Any more rain and the cute little bunny rabbit gets it.

I'm addicted to watching the inevitable massive showers as they approach.

its only water

I accept the premise of that, but if it's anything like it is round me, excluding one ride that's all track, then all the natural stuff is just a mess and in no way fun... Water just pouring out of the ground. Its gonna take so long for this to dry out...

Thanking god for a well made trail centre up the road right now.

We need the rain. We don't need the chill wind and the hailstorm that sandblasted me while I was riding in thiis morning.

What are your predictions for the summer? I think it will be below-average temps, and wetter than the norm, then a cool autumn and a bitter winter.

I know I could MTFU and go mudd plugging, but I've resisted and decided to play the waiting game. My reasoning being it has to stop at some point and then I will be out on my bike every day! That was two months ago , still waiting...

The bitter arctic winds/rain and fingerless gloves did not make a pleasant commute this morning!

I struggled to type my password on my PC when I got in ๐Ÿ˜€

The last time we had weather like this (I mean the snow that's been falling today etc) was, apparently, in 1976
Which was rather hot.

Just saying...... ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm not saying I believe it. Because I don't. People just love statistics, especially ones that give us hope. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's gotta improve at some point though.

Working from home, looking at water soaked windows with the sun shining through them, a minute ago frozen rain drops were pelting the front of the house.

Proper mental weather and yeah just plain cold out there yesterday.

Sitting in the office, looking out into the car park at my Kona through torrents of rain - unsure as to which will be its demise first - submerging, dissolving or being washed away.
