We will be in touch
Just a quick question really.
I have some bits and bobs I want to get rid of on ebay. I'm ok with how the whole thing works, my stumbling block is how to know what it will cost to post something, without actually taking each item to the post office and saying "if i wanted to post this how much would it cost pls"
Also, whats the prefered method of posting to avoid the old "it never got here" chestnut?
many thanks to all the ebay-wise stw'ers I know will answer.
🙂
If you have some scales just weigh the item, with packaging, and then pop along to Royal Mails website for the price.
Recorded delivery is usually your best bet to prove someone received goods. Nowadays tho, when you send stuff via the post office, regardless of which non signed for service chosen, you will get a receipt which will allow you to pursue a claim of upto £39 from Royal Mail, but can take ages.
