I use IE (I know, I know!) so I'm prepared to be told it's all my fault...but it's the only website I know that does this.
It freezes the whole computer for about 5 seconds every time I navigate from one page to another, it says it's downloading something at the bottom of the page, I'm guessing one of the massive adverts but there are plenty of other websites that have lots of ads and cause no problems.
It's a real pain in the bum.
Solution 1 - become a premier user (you can then turn off most of the flash ads).
Solution 2 - use a browser (well known - clue: sack bushy tail) and get the plug in.
Solution 3 - get a beer / wine and treat the pauses as a reason for a tipple!
5 secs does sound like a long time tho?
