@iainc Thanks for the ISM suggestion, they are on my very short lost to check out too. 👍 What model/s do you use mate?

I have PL (performance long) ones on the road and gravel bikes and PM (performance mountain) on MTB

Cheers for the info Ian. I'll be on the turbo initially before I hopefully get onto the Jeffsy so I'll have a look at the ISM's.

performance long

Is that a saddle or a model of Titan?

Seriously, all the best @Poopscoop

So, I started my catch up here:

I have PL (performance long)

Then went back to the Titan. Things were a little muddled for a moment as I thought Poops was getting to choose his Titan spec - ‘Comp Medium’ might be a difficult sell.

All the best @Poopscoop

Careful as you walk around the ward afterwards. A clash of the titans could be awkward.

Hope all goes well. There is always the option of a recumbent. Mine has three wheels for added smiles, and is available for trial.

After the op he'll have a place for the warning flag built in!

@Poopscoop , I have a couple of quite well "gapped" saddles and I bet a few of us do. You're welcome to try what I have to see how you go before buying something

Thanks for the continued giggles, "clash of the Titans" does deserve a special mention!😂

Oh, one up side (ahem) is that the wire in the plumbing that stops it collapsing (ahem) is made of... titanium. I was actually sad enough to ask.😉

I'm finally a Terminator.

That's very decent of you mate, I'll see how I get on. I won't be throwing a leg over a bike (or anything else....) for around 6+ weeks... Heck, even Han(d) Solo... is a no go.😐

Not the typical pubmed search I’m used to, but this paper was very encouraging. Good outcomes with high satisfaction levels from a review of 10 studies. No mention of the benefits of titanium mind 😉

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7719505/

This led to some other searches and reading on other procedures that use the devices which were enlightening. Nobody undergoes female to male sexual reassignment surgery lightly. Some amazing techniques that are still being refined.

Edit: I Have an ISM PR2.0. Hmm… I’ll definitely try it first as I have it already. I’ll have a good read/ watch, of the setup guides.

You have to spend a bit of time setting them up correctly and I, and a few club-mates, found that even setting them up on a turbo as opposed to on road had an adverse effect on the set up.

Good luck poopscoop.
Welcome to the world of titanium.
There's a few of us on here, who have been rebuilt in various places, with new body parts.

Back where the thread started. Hope for your fast recovery. There is a Catrike recumbent in Sheffield going cheap on Ebay if you feel a more reclined pedal.

@ TiRed... I definitely feel recumbent at the moment. Tired out at the mo.lol

They had to go in from both ends due to the fibrosis. Scrote, then semi detach the head to hollow out from that end too... Glad I wasn't awake....

The little chap is wrapped up like King Tut at the moment.😂

That's a grim read, it's put me right off my tea!  The King Tut comment made me chuckle though. I am imagining a Hammer horror film -  the curse of the mummy's tool!

All the best for a swift recovery and Titan's first test drive!
