Saw these in the Trespass shop in Covent Garden last year and thought, "wow, how cool". So I bought some a couple of weeks ago for £10. I never really thought Id use them , but in this weather on the untreated pavements here on mount Malvern, they were fantastic for this morning's shopping trip! Walked all the way and didnt slip once (unlike a mate on his Vibram soled deathtraps). Top buy!

What's to stop them falling off? They don't seem that well attached.

This is what I use:

My dad would shout at you for not undoing your laces before you took your shoes off.

glenh - the rubber is really stretched I nearly pulled my shoulder muscle getting them on and off. They're not falling off. They also roll up small and light so easy to carry rather than crampons.

IHN - my dad tried 🙂 All my shoes are tested in the shop for the ability to remove without undoing the laces. I dont unbutton my shirts either 🙂

Cool. You look a bit of a knob wearing crampons down the shops too.
