I have some Snap-On tools from my grease monkey days, and my ratchet needs a service, the trouble is with me not working, or know anyone that works at a garage anymore i don't know how to go about servicing?

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers 🙂

strip clean add a smear of grease replace any worn parts pop it all back together. Not to dissimilar to a free hub when you get into it.

Dont snap-on have a lifetime guarantee, just find you nearest snap on deal (Through their web site) and ask the rep, simples

Yeah they do have a lifetime guarantee, a very good one too if you can find the dealers!
It looks like i have found my dealers, about 30 miles away though so may have to box em up and mail them off

thanks peeps

Why don't you ring the dealer? He might end up visiting a garage or venue near you at some point in the next week or so. That way at least you'll be able to keep hold of your ratchet if they haven't got the o/haul kit in stock.

Just a thought.

as above, i use a mix of snap on/mac and am forced to travel with work, i just find the nearest dealer and give them a call, chances are they are usually somewhere local to me and don't mind dropping round to sort me out on their travels.
