So I have an unusual samsung phone called the 'galaxy s advance' from about 2012-13 which I have had problems with recently. The problem is that NO apps from the play store can be downloaded as it says 'file package incorrect' and the few that do download ask you to force close it because of an 'unexpected error'. Also, after replacing the battery in hope that its life will last longer, the phone drains the battery life in a couple of hours which is quicker than the old battery... Anyone had similar problems and what should I do?
reset back to factory settings?
root it and instal a different rom?
not very technical myself really, but these are probably what id try in that order.
sounds similar, do you have "Samsung Hub" - whatever that is.
