[Closed] Smart phones, any good ones under £200?

I've sold my new iPod Touch 4 as I want everything in one device rather than carrying that and a phone around (I know, first world country problems 😆 ). I mainly used the iPod for watching videos and browsing the internet, not really arsed about games or that sort of thing. Was going to buy a mates iPhone 4 off him but he's struggling to get it unlocked at the minute. Would a 2nd hand iPhone 3GS still suffice for me without feeling like a downgrade performance-wise from the iPod 4?

I have an O2 simplicity tarrif so whatever I buy needs to be either sim free or on payg. All I want it for is phone/text, gps for endomondo, internet and videos. Must have good wifi performance as my 3G data plan is pretty low (128mb) so I'd only use wifi. Looking at android alternatives but haven't liked those I've used so far, they still seem a bit unresponsive to type and browse on.

Sony Experia Ray is looking good so far, nicely priced and seems to actually have decent battery life.
