I currently drive a astra and have 2 kids and need car seats for them, I am looking to change to some sort of van ideally. Are there any small vans that have 3 seats or at least the option of having the 3rd in the back?
Aftermarket ISOFIX kit mounted to the rear floor?
Get a normal Berlingo and take the double section of seats out of the back.
I had mine nearly nine years like that. Awesome bike and people wagon.
Some of the Mercedes / Renault vans have three up front. It is a small seat in the middle and not sure if it has Isofix option.
How small we talking?
As I say, Berlingo is brilliant. I'd get the car one and remove seats. Nicer interior etc.
Otherwise, Dispatch, Scudo, Expert. All have option of 3 seats.
I've been looking at a lot of vans lately...
Hi-Aace.
90/110 hard top
Nice looking Hiace in the classifieds.
Stealth camper modifications too.
A 😉
Tourneo Connect, rear seats can be tilted or removed.
Don't laugh, but a Vauxhall Meriva/Zaffira they are cheap, and massive. They have the ability to fold one seat done, and keep on seat up in the back. I can fit my bicycle in the rear without removing wheels.
2 seats in the front of a small van isn't going to be fun if they even fit.
Think you'll be up to transit size before you can get two on the bench.
They will also not be isofix so it'll be a pain sticking then in and out right next to each other.
Most small vans are "seat and. A half" rather than 2 full seats.
Some of the options above have a lap belt in the middle which means no kid seat.
