Anyone got any idea how much this costs? I need to put another driver on my insurance for one day.

My renewal is due before that time so I'm wondering if it's worth just adding them as a named driver to the policy for a year - seems to be about £30 more.

Rang the insurace co, who said they can't quote me the day rate until I've got a policy 😐

If the person that is going to ue your car have got insurance themselves they can say they have been given a courtesy car whilst their car is off the road for a couple of days and this should provide full cover for no cost.*

* NB: I have not done this but my mum has and she says her insurance company did not ask where or who the car came from.

insurance4carhire.com (no e) seems to insure your insurance excess for £4.75 a day, which isn't what I'm looking for (unless I'm missing something?)

I want to insure another driver to driver my car for a day. Like being a named driver on the policy, but for a day.
