Simon, you doing any rides from 31st of may to 5th june? I am going to be in the lakes that week and would like to do a bit of riding but am good at getting lost. I can confirm that my swimming certificate is up to date...

Hmm, the evening one, would that be night riding at this time of year? Might be free for the Sunday one, is it likely to be an all day epic or shorter than that?

I have a spare club light for lending out, but the evening ride will be half+ in daylight by then.

The first Sunday of each month is always an easy-ish ride.

Where does the Sunday ride start from is it open to anyone to tag along? What sort of distance?

Easy ish sounds good, as I'm not really used to big hills living down south. I've got lights, just not convinced that a night ride for my first lakes experience is sensible 🙂

it's a ride, get over it :o)

We usually meet at the Holiday Inn (M6 junction 34) at 9am, but this is subject to variation, so it's best to ring me to check (01524 843474). The ride is different each week, and they vary between 15 and 35 miles. Anyone can come along, we're not fussy 🙂

What has being skint got to do with wearing full fingered gloves ? If anything, surely mitts would be cheaper ?

Do you mean brass monkeys ?
