*sigh* What little ...

[Closed] *sigh* What little purse/pouch thing to stop coins rattling around my gym bag

I can only imagine the suggestions I may get, but I'd like something to stop me having to fish loose change out of all the corners of my gym bag/camelbak. Ideally the following criteria will be met:

- It will not look like something my five year old niece would use (it may possibly look like something my six year old nephew would)
- It will not be one of those half-moon shaped change purses that old men use.
- It will not be a wallet with a bit for change. I have a wallet, and when it's not (rattling around) in my gym bag/camelbak my change is kept in my pocket.

I'm aware that a sandwich bag will meet the above requirements, and that may possibly be the solution I plump for. However, I thought I'd give you all the opportunity to have a laugh at my expense.

<sits back and awaits the onslaught>

Well, that would depend on whether it was worth showing off.

Have one of these in the car for parking change (since the ashtray, my usual change spot, seems to have been abolished in new cars):

I cleverly solve the loose change storage problem by inserting the coins up my anus.

Second woody2000's suggestion; I have several 'roo bawbags from Australia and they're ideal for keeping loose change in - stops you wearing holes in the back pockets of trousers and jeans, too.

I could make you a little bag, with a velcro fastener at the top.
Have some nice green/brown striped fabric in stock ๐Ÿ™‚

I use one of these. Picked it up at the airport once for the nipper, then stole it back when I realised it would come in handy.

It's patriotic like.

Edit to add: It fits an emergency bank card, emergency fiver, access badge for work, and coins.

These were going to be phone cases, however they'll make good mini wallets.

13 cm x 7 cm velcro fastening.
Anyone that would like one, I'll post out free for a small donation to:

Thanks

The soft drawstring bag that came with your Oakleys (NB other brands may be available...)

That's what I used, after I broke the zip on my expensive Oakley wallet cramming too much loose change into it.
I've worn holes through four sunglasses bags so far, and I now use a little leather drawstring bag that I bought from a bloke who has a market stall in town; he sells ex-army gear, and he does bushcraft stuff too, which includes leather bags for carrying flints and fire strikers, tinder, and other bits and bobs.
Nice thick leather, and not to big to carry in a back pocket. Looks like the ball bag, but a bit smaller.
