I'm usually a late one but neighbours put theirs up in November which prompted the badgering from herself. Considering the cost of it I gave in for Dec 1st but it will come down day after boxing day... Bah humbug

I do well to fend off Christmas until December in our house, but then I don't mind it.

3 weeks before Christmas - wtf?

Seriously, you are just pandering to these increasingly irritating Retailers that insist in bringing Christmas a couple of days forward every year.

Oh and humbug.

Ours is normally bought the weekend before but the last 2 years (plus this one) clashes with our riding weekend to the Lakes so it will he collected and put up 2 weeks before which seems plenty early enough to me.

You can rely on the good folk of singletrackworld to uphold common sense and decency in a world gone mad. I love Christmas, but the tree goes up much much nearer the 25th. (young kids means that I can't quite hold off until the 24th, but this is still far too early. )
