This is Captain.... Taken on a cooler day(I might buy him a paddling pool tomorrow) , here one of the shop dogs displays some rare energy.

Just sharing because he is a wonderful beast, and I love him dearly. The human child and wife are alright too.

Let's see your hounds.

Officially a basset hound. But he is 40kg and suspected to be a greater purbeckian sandwich hound. The yogi bear of Dorset beaches.

Bloody hell Stratobiker if that dog had a pink nose it would have been a spitting image of my mum's old dog 🙂

And that was a mongrel of an Alsatian and Labrador.

Cinnamon Girl it is a bit of a mystery to be honest and I have spent a lot of time trying to work it out. I think she is a cross between a Blue Merle Rough collie and either a whippet or a greyhound but whatever she is, she is a brilliant dog and gets lots of love from passing people who always tend to think she looks like a miniature wolf!

Busydog... I think that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is now Britain's most popular dog? I think they have now taken over from the Golden Retriever?

I'm a cat person (as is my better half), but we'd like a dog one day...probably when we retire so that we can devote enough time to her.

I like miniature pinschers 😛
