Snowy ride.

Cone of shame!
[img] [/img]

He's a Springer/Lab cross, the Springer probably explains his usual sleeping position.

Dog threads here are always really cool and great fun.
Curious, but what breed is considered the most popular/prominent there in the UK?

Busydog... I think that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is now Britain's most popular dog? I think they have now taken over from the Golden Retriever?

Thanks--that's not surprising. Do notice quite a few labs as well when dog threads pop up.

user-removed---that photo of Kasper jumping is really great--you can try over and over to get that kind of shot and then it just happens.

I'm a cat person (as is my better half), but we'd like a dog one day...probably when we retire so that we can devote enough time to her.

I like miniature pinschers 😛

whole lot of spaniels upside down on sofas. Labs seem to be into the inverted sleeping thing, constantly under my feet when im WFH.

Palmer aint allowed on sofa tho. he's already too big (currently 7 months), and i reckon once up, that would be me and the mrs sat on the floor for the foreseeable.

Barney now at 10 months old - apols for cruddy phonecam pix

He's alright, calmed down massively thank f. Fast as a fast thing, has become totally ball obsessed and seems to bring the best out of other dogs, has hugely impacted on my riding as I'm always walking the blooming dog.

In a few months time he'll be old enough to do some gentle rides with you. Depends on where you live, but I bought an old singlespeed and have discovered a whole network of local paths and trails (Scotland - so all ok). An early morning ride with the dog is the best (fact) way to start the day and an hour singlespeeding on undulating single track does a whole lot of good... we alternate who rides with the dog, the other riding their work commute.
