You must have been part of the second wave of letters, I got mine was it last week or the week before.... the days and weeks have become joined up. Definitely the week before as last week on Monday I spoke to someone from the council because I was struggling to get food supplies and by the end of the week a delivery had happened.

You can open a window and therefore breath in the air but can't step foot outside your house to breath the same air that will come through the window. You're apparently allowed into your own garden with that same air too. It's okay if you live with others so long as they socially distance themselves and so long as you keep 2metres away from them at least... Unfortunately everyone has been treated with this blanket advice because we have a nation of people who need a 'caution hot liquid' sign on cups containing tea.

Personally I'm following advice but I'm still walking my dog or riding my bike but I don't go anywhere else at all. I can leave the house and not walk past or speak to a single person so the same air that would come through that window. I don't touch a single surface while out either on my bike or walking the dog but this way I don't lose my sanity.

I know a lot of people are doing the 'dont leave under any circumstances' but there was also a top boffin on the bbc a few weeks back who said if you can leave the house and ensure or guarantee you won't come into contact with anyone then that's safe to do so as well but not everyone lives in such a suburban area to be able to do that. I've never crossed the road so many times in my whole life while walking the dog for an hour mind!

Have either of you been offered a Tesco delivery slot yet?

They are trying to contact those on the list and seem to have a roughly 70% hit rate.

Are either of you in that 70% yet?
