My brother and sister in law have started writing cartoons. Some of them are a bit obscure for me, but this one made me piss myself. Unlucky Monster is another of my faves.

Really not funny or well illustrated. And I am a big fan of Viz cartoons and others.
Sorry, but a waste of server storage.

Have to agree with CHB.

I could forgive the style of illo if the content justified it.
Must try harder.
OP - do you REALLY think they are 'very funny though'? You must be easily amused. 😉

I guess it depends on your sense of humour. Some of them do it for me more than others (I'm a bit of a sucker for profanity and bottom jokes). I think they've built up quite a following, but obviously not hitting the mark with the STW Massive.

CHB - clearly not your thing, but I don't think they're supposed to be nicely drawn.

Tough crowd.

Indeed. See also 'books i didn't like' and 'will ferrell' threads this morning for STW'er who are difficult to keep entertained. These people probably wear t-shirts with in-jokes about computer programming languages on them, you know. 😉

I quite liked the cartoons anyway. Never seen a knob gag in a monster/godzilla context so that's a lovely brainless first for me anyway. 🙂

The funny ones were non-sweary. I quite liked the mortal coil punchline and also the bloke in the wrong cartoon

iDave - neither could Picasso 😉

DavidB - yes, I like that one. Some of the more off the wall ones take a bit longer to get, but are worth persevering with. The nob gags seem to be the most popular though...

picaso could 'draw', he just chose a different style for most of his work

Doesn't have to be well drawn to be good, but funny and not a blatant rip off of other cartoons always helps

for the record Picasso was 'drawing' better than pretty much anyone else by the time he hit puberty

The hands and feet in that painting are all wrong.

The fact that he tucked the hands of the woman and man out of sight and, he painted one of the man's legs without a foot on the end, shows that he just completely gave up trying to paint hands and feet.

OK, putting Picasso to one side, will the evening crew be just as positive?

Evening!

'Why won't you post something positive on this thread?'

'Because I'm a cu#t!'

No, actually, it's because the cartoons just don't make me laugh, nor does Lee Evans. Will Ferreal however.....

How old is that Perversion one?

Zig 'n' Zag off of 'the Big Breakfast' used to crack that joke every morning!

I liked some of them, not all, but the monster ones are generally amusing. As for the drawing style, it's a style and I don't find it displeasing.

Granted, I haven't pissed myself yet 😕

From the will self link:

I cling to the belief that it's important to maintain those businesses which put a human face on the exchange of money for goods and services. If we bought everything on the internet our eyes and mouths and nostrils would probably begin to film over with a tegument – one initially tissue-thin and capable of being removed each morning, but which gradually thickened and hardened until we were imprisoned in our own tiny minds.

Tegument, my new word for today. And let that be a warning to all us CRC customers. 😆
