I seem to remember a thread ages ago on the old site about these probably being fakes and was wondering if anyone's got any experience with them.

I bought some of those ages ago, definitely fakes sound quality wasn't good and they broke (wire became disconnected internally) after around 2 months of light use.

i bought some CX500s from an amazon shop for £15 the other day and am 99% sure they aren't fakes. if they ARE fakes then they are very good ones as the packaging etc was spot on
I bought some CX300s from Amazon for about £15, much better than the standard ones I got with my MP3 player

i've always sworn by those sonys but find the sennheisers have less of a bass lift making them more comfortable for longer listening periods
