As per the title. Due to the confounded bank holiday it would need to be sent on Tuesday. Any recommendations?

I could, with difficulty get to the post office tomorrow, but not sure they're the best people.

Next day, about £45 for a kilo.

Would it need to go through customs?

Yes I think so. It's a commercial product (record) someone has bought from me.

My experience of sending stuff to / from the US via regular mail is that it takes about a week. So possible but unlikely unless you use an express courier.

Yeah. Will check out UPS etc. Just wondering whether it's even possible, like does the customs process take two days at least etc?

It's possible. Courier companies will do the customs part for you, and collect duty etc, pay more and it's more than possible that the person receiving it will have it before Thursday. The postal service hands over to USPS and you can often get away with 0 value from a customs perspective but it'll never be there (for certain) by Thursday.

EDIT : To be clear, the recipient can usually pay any duty online directly to the courier, by credit card, and the courier will release once that's cleared.
