I've used these guys for refurb Macs before and they were excellent. I couldn't tell the difference from a brand new machine. Looks like they've plenty of macbook airs in

Definitely stretch to an M1 if you can - I reckon you'll get another 10 years out of one, whereas I suspect you might find (at the very least) support for the Intel ones petering/finished by then. And they're better.

Third for Hoxton, I used them to buy a Pro for my daughter when she headed off to uni. Great service and event though her machine was good (not excellent) condition, I couldn't see any mark on it, it looked new to me.

Try to stretch to M1 or M2 if you can.

Thanks all. I did look on John Lewis as a comparison on a new one and they offered me £80 for my old one.... which is nice 😐

Yes, see if you can stretch to an M1 MacBook Air - I bought one as a stop-gap when my 15” MacBook Pro died 3 years ago. I do a bit of graphic design, illustration and output for sublimation printing - it’s been faultless only sometimes struggling when I’m asking it to output a huge file, it slows down a bit.
