Its a clever move. The 24 more turbines are a mere side issue, and just a distraction to Peel Holdings latest 'Environmental' Subsidy-hoovering - AD Waste Plants. Which are the latest instalment in their ongoing "**** the local community, just give us loads more taxpayers money in dodgy, dubious 'Green' subsidies for projects of very dubious value'

They're a bunch of utter shysters!!! Hiding behind some achingly transparent Green-Wash

But aren't they improving access from the top of the Coal Road over to Cragg?
So you won't have to ride that track past Waugh's Well.
The one where you all fall off and injure yourselves on a Monday night 🙄

That track past Waughs Well is the best bit! I have fallen off down there, but I've fallen off everywhere round there. Its Bregante who's fallen the biggest victim to that particular trail though

TO be honest, I'm fine with the turbines. I like them, and it makes sense to add them where the infrastructure largely exists.

I think people would be better focussing their energies on objecting to the AD Waste plant, which is an altogether more pressing and serious matter. Because if they successfully get the first one of those in, then as sure as night follows day, we'll soon be surrounded by those. And that'll have a lot more real world impact than saying they ruin the view
