It's been a long time since I was kid and I don't yet have any of my own so I won't pretend to know what is 'down with the kids' these days but has this extreme scootering really taken off this big that it now has it's own 'festival' and World Champs?
Great if it has, anything that gets kids active and involved but I must have completely missed this one. I thought Micro scooters were a thing of the past (early 00's).
Just been in France recently and every skatepark has skaters outnumbered by "scooters" by 2:1 easily.
Yup back big time at the moment.
2 kids did a 3" curb drop in front of me in Reading today, i may have shouted 'BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM' as the second one landed much to his little friends surprise, so surprised he was that he rode into the back of a big ladies bottom
she wasn't happy
😆 @ Phil
Yeah £100s worth of scooters in school bike sheds far outnumbering the bikes 😐
horrible little things.
What the kids or their scooters?
Friend of mine runs a shop selling scooters as well as hoodies and t-shirts, the money kids spend on scooters is crazy! He's not in to scooters, but it brings in the money. Some of the build quality on the scooters is pretty impressive (proper welding, etc), but the kids dont really seem to care, they just follow fashion with it all
My boys scooter was over 80 quid
scooters... not kids.
Looks good, only £20 a ticket.
I know I shouldn't be such a hater - but these things seem massively lame compared to skateboards and BMXs. Still, if it keeps the kids away from the Xbox...
New bin liners.
Should be banned from skateparks 🙂
.
Good call pal, my lad is so into these...and begging me to take him to this. Couple of big acts lined up for the music though so I'll be booking.
