...with a suspected detached testicle. Been told I can't eat or drink so I'm guessing surgery is on the cards.

This could sting a bit!

Blimey, that sounds bloomin' painful. Hope you're on the mend soon.

Edit; al - there's some things that one shouldn't ask!

suspected detached testicle

Not had a look/feel?

In this particular case, pics are not needed.

Good luck!

Got a smack in the plums from a big piece of cable that sprung up a few weeks ago, so maybe that.

Noticed the right one hanging a lot lower the other day and a bit of tenderness in the groin.

A doctor has examined and agrees with my self diagnosis. Waiting to see a surgeon now

Not another sodding erection thread.

That said, balls out appears to be a theme.

(Good luck!)

Oooh. Sounds shite. Hope you scrotally recover from this and don't have to sack off too much work. Don't go too nuts if you have to spend a bit of time resting while you recover.

Makes my eyes water. Mind you, if you look at the front page you'll find spares are readily available.

Make sure you warn him to be careful with that knife. Good lock.

i lost the end of my finger yesterday.... got it trapped when unloading the truck. was too late to sew on the rest so now have that in a bag now :|. got a big bandage around it, it is sore as bugger...... and it is going to take at least four weeks until i can work/ride again.

a mate got his penis caught in my brake lever when i was about 10 (i wasn't riding the bike at the time, he was). found my bike abandoned and then a long streak of blood leading to his front door. poor bastard! ended up having it sewn back on.

he managed to lean forward on the bike and

This is a clear case at stealing the forum name WorldClassAccident!

And can I be the first to ask how you made it 2 weeks before seeking advice, surely it must have been painful during that time?

Had an ultrasound and there is fluid there but nothing that looks too dodgy. Just waiting for docs final verdict. Might not be as serious as first thought.

Does the verdict involve 'unzipping' the sack and seeing if either falls out???

there is a well practised way of getting rid of fluid from that area... I'm sure a matron* could help you.

The fluid is in the ballsack, not the testes.

No-one could actually tell me what was wrong, but copping a feel and ultrasound shows nowt.

The old cup and cough - well, it doesn't even twitch, but a doctor said it was alive and well.

After working away all week and them being a bit 'tight' this morning, this evening has been the first time I've had chance to show the Mrs - she was a little shocked - it's hanging at least an inch lower than normal.

They shrink fine, but that's the skin tightening, not the testes retracting

had that ever since vasectomy 7 yrs ago. Urologist said not abnormal, common occurrence. They can insert some kind of mesh to support or something in some cases but he told me to forget about it !

Congratulations, this is the first time on here that a post has left me with my legs crossed.
I think there should be a line that posters do not cross & you've crossed that metaphorical line in the cybersphere 😯
I sincerely wish you healing vibes...

To be honest, I wasn't overly concerned whether I was going to have an op to re-connect, or lose the knacker altogether.

What I didn't want is a potentially dangerous situation, or - too much bloody time out of action.

As it is, Mr Ed still isn't right, which annoys me, but will have to see how it develops now. I'm over being squeamish about too much stuff

Glad you're ok and don't need an OP.

Got hit in the plumbs by accident when folding away a laptop lock cable! Unravelled and did a Max Mosely in the plumbs and hurt for 1-2 weeks!
