I only decided to stay at my friends house to watch it through as I wanted to see what JR could elicit out of Tom Hardy about the new Bat-film. Having never seen TH being interviewed before I did not know that he could be intense/arse/weird (delete as you see fit).
I really did think JR was going to get a right good smack in the chops. I'm not one for confrontation but TBH as JR has interviewed him before (I'm told) you would have thought he'd have known not to go so far. But maybe he just is too stupid not to know to push too far.
It was certainly more "interesting" than your average chat show chat.
I read it differently. I think TH is a wind up merchant. Did you see him gripping JRs arse?
I think he got a kick out of unsettling him TBH.
What did he say to go too far? Do you mean the video from Big Breakfast?
To be fair I thought Hardy did himself a bit of damage talking about the car theft etc
If you read JR tweets he did say that TH was winding him up.
TH did come across a bit of a knob with no sense of humour. I felt a bit for JR as most guests would have taken the banter better.
TH resorted to some damage limitation at the end by groping JR; you could tell he was pretty embarrased by his own behaviour.
I just thought it made the interview a bit more interesting than the usual fawning Ross fodder.
Seen that Warrior film though, whaddaloada crud eh? 😉
