We're finishing a bike ride in San Sebastian this summer. Anyone know what the options are for flights? Cant see anything from Biarritz-Bayonne, just Bilbao Easyjet? They will charge an arm and a leg for bikes and bags.....

mcboo, where are you flying to? You can do Bilbao -> Manchester, Bilbao -> London (various options), Biarritz -> London with RyanAir. If that doesn't suit you have Pau about 1.5hrs away and Bordeaux about 2.75hrs away. You can get to both of them on the train. You also have the TGV to Paris and on to London which is quite quick. You can get to both Biarritz and Bilbao from San Sebastian although Bilbao is a lot easier. There's also a little airport in San Sebastian but you'd have to fly via Madrid.

Easyjet are a lot better than RyanAir for bike transport.

Drop me a line through the contact form on my website or email if you'd like me to give you more information. BasqueMTB
