Blabbing away to undercover reporters like he's important or something. His hubris has finally choked him. Good.

Ive always though him an idiot.

Presumably, he does know that the City of London financial houses paid 58.3 BILLION POUNDS in taxes last year, that's 11.2 percent of the entire tax take for the country? And that "banker's bonuses" are taxed at 50 percent?

If I was CallMeDave I'd be inclined to say "Bye Vince and don't let the door hit you on your way out".

never had him down as an idiot, until now

just thought he was typical of politicians who can talk the talk until they get in power, then they suffer memory loss and mahoosive egoexpansion

they're all vile, just takes some longer than others time to prove it beyond doubt

thought what he said was pretty sound TBH shame we cannot let our politicains speak honestly without kicking up this sort of fuss. the reaction to this is why they use the language they do to us and rarely give honest answers to simple questions.
I haate Cove most no idea why he just makes me want to pound his face in with a blunt instrument
So whoppit is your question why is corporation tax less than Income tax then?

I thought he was a clot at first, but all of a sudden he's doing a good job.

he does know that the City of London financial houses paid 58.3 BILLION POUNDS in taxes last year, that's 11.2 percent of the entire tax take for the country? And that "banker's bonuses" are taxed at 50 percent?

That's too much tax being paid...gives financial institutions too much leverage over Government.

JY - he has prejudged the Ofcom report. Plurality of the media is not a political decisions it is a judicial one that he has an involvement in. By showing his politicisation of the judicial role he has made himself redundant.

Cable has proved time and time again that the only thing that interests him is his own self-interests/self-image.

This doesn't make him look as stupid as claiming he might not vote for the legislation he came up with.

Can't help the feeling that the Lib Dems are getting played like puppets by the Tories. They have succeeded in getting the Lib Dems to take the rap for pretty much all the bad things the coalition is doing.
