On another forum we invaded the Daniel O'Donnell forum on his site and it was so good it actually made the news in Ireland (caveat: it was probably a slow news day) and the forum had to close down.

FWIW, we had a good invasion of a fishing world from BM (remember that? 🙂 ) in 2001 or so. I was disproportionately pleased with my user name of carpe-diem 😉

I remember the Mumsnet War, but not parrots. Think the mumsnet thread is in their special threads section or whatever it is called. I wouldn't know, I wouldn't use it, as I am never BU.

Remember it well, got told off by the powers that be.
Only a select few special forces forum users were chosen to go and raid the parrot forum one dark winter evening. None of the current big hitters were involved as they were all on bikemagic in those days (or nappies). The trolling was probably the longest and funniest set of parrot innuendo ever to hit the internet. I was nearly hospitalised by laughter. The owners complained to Chipps at 1.30am who then gave us all a big telling off the next day after having to placate them. Sorry if you weren't there 😆 if you were.
