I think it was this post that broke the forum.

Rush are my all time favourite band!!!!! And I may be going to see them this Spring, cannot wait...

I saw them in 2007 in Glasgow, and I barely spoke at school the next day I was like 😯

I saw them in 2007 at the SECC also, once you're a bit further beyond school age you'll understand there is no point publicizing such a marmite band on a MTB forum.

I surprised it hasn't degenerated into "Rush are not good" versus "Rush are the best band in the world" yet.

Mind you, how they can be someones number one is beyond me. Listen to more music maybe?

LOL I'm 18 at college, but yeah most folk either don't like them or haven't heard of Rush at all.

I listen to lots of music, old and new, but Rush are still my favourite, so much so that I even bought a Fender Jazz bass to play just like Geddy Lee!

Sww them in 84 and 07 brilliant both times, never owned an album of theirs nor do I really know any of their songs but quality is apparent in everything they touch

Will go this year too

Going to see them in May at SECC. They were one of my favourite bands in the 80s but I never got to see them so I am very excited about it all!

I saw them in 1977 at the Glasgow Apollo. Have they not retired yet? They must be ancient 🙂
