Can anyone recommend me a running jacket.

Needs to be lightweight, windproof, ideally showerproof and under £35.

Ronhill windlite appears to fit the bill but what else is out there?

I have a fluorescent jobbie from JJB (I think it's Run365) and it's grand.

I think it cost around £20 but I got it cheap in a buy 2 get third free with shorts and a top for running also.

They have Nike Livestrong ones on their site at the moment for around your budget.

I have had a Salomon, Fast Wing I think, in Ninja Black for the last 2 years and it's been awesome. They are usually £60+, but you can often get the previous years model from places like Field & Trek, for half that. That's what I did anyways 😉

Any pertex jacket will do, as long as it's got enough vents, I sweat loads

Try Decathlon - I got an excellent pertex shell for not much money.

Pleased with my Ronhill Windlite. Coldest run so far has been about 4deg and it was fine half zipped with just a running top underneath. Windproof and showerproof so fine in the rain too. Rear pocket is a little small to be useful for anything but a key.

Don't think I'd pay full RRP but mine was only £20 in the Blacks sale (though it was the last one and is a size bigger than ideal )

Wiggle sometimes have some decent stuff in the sales.

Craft stuff is usually pretty good.

Just out of curiosity...why a jacket? For the winter I usually just stick a helly hansen type thermal top on under a looser t-shirt and crack on.

In Winter I run with a Pertex shell over a short sleeve helly and 'upgrade' to a long sleeve if its sub zero.
