AWESOME. What can you say? Excellent game for Wales and a big message, almost point for point with S.A. Top defending, no real errors and a fair spread of try scoring. Shame that Jenkins can't chip and run.

How many NH sides have looked slick, well drilled and professional so far?

2 Wales and Ireland, also would add Scotland who looked very well drilled in a ultra conservative sort of way. England however look like they are not sure what they are trying to do, dominate up front and play for territory one min then headless running the next. Lots of cheep shots from them too, I wonder who their coach is?

Anyway nice to hear that idiot Armitage has been cited, dirty ****.

just have to hope he's not too badly injured, same with Bennett as Burns is shite (although to be fair he improved on his dire display against Namibia today).

Ireland will beat Wales by disrupting the welsh lineout.

zokes

I've been away for 10 days, so what were your 'excuses' for losing to the Argies, then a (by your own inference) poor England team? I hope the flight home's a good one!

No excuses. simply not good enough

There are reasons and I think most of it must be laid at the coaches door. Scotland played well below their potential even tho Robinson had everything he wanted pretty much in terms of preparation.

It is, it means Cueto gets a game. One of those 'improvements' that England can't make, apparently....

And just for A_A:

Armitage despite being a dirty **** is a very good player, one of the few in the England squad who attack space.

Cueto being another. As again, England's main issue has been discipline, he's a definite improvement over Armitage.

Now then, being lewd towards a waitress vs drink driving. Care to comment?

Zokes, you are ace!

One of those 'improvements' that England can't make, apparently....

Cutting out the indiscipline would be a major factor, and as they're generally unforced errors, something that could (but probably won't) improve.

Now you are arguing with yourself! Are you sure you are not from one of the Celtic nations?

And all the best in thinking Cueto the gouger is improving your team on current form.

just read Carter out of the world cup with the injury he sustained in training, big blow for them and now the pressure will build on them once again. Still going with my original prediction of the AB's choking in the semi's to the wallabies.

Just catching up. Can't believe Carter is out, havingnto call up Cruden eeeek ! Had a nice arvo at nz v Canada, we looked pretty sharp.
England were a wee bit lucky last night, although Scotland showed how hard they find crossing then try line - so close. Oh well. Wife was there and said it was great.
Come on Ireland

Can you read, Duckkid?

First quote taken in context is sarcasm (look it up in the dictionary - it's that big book with lots of words in it). - Note, this is both patronising, and sarcastic.

The second is a statement, based upon their performances so far.

In actual fact, I lived for 10 years in North Wales, and am married to a Welsh lass, so I do have a reasonable connection to the country. It's unnecessarily venomous small-minded people like A_A in particular who put me off supporting them as a second team.

And A_A - neither team is exactly a paragon of morals, but you keeping bringing up the gutter press about some drunken idiots who should know better hardly has any bearing on their rugby ability or lack thereof.

Zokes - I am sorry but most of the "venomous small-minded people" on this thread have been English supporters and you have been guilty of this yourself.

I'd challenge you to find a statement taken in context here where I've been remotely myopic towards the other home nations - I've certainly not taken the 'little Englander' stance, as it's one I hate myself.

Yourself on the other hand...

(I am prepared, however, to find that in over 2000 posts I may have transgressed somewhere.)

do you care to comment.

Both teams (in fact, probably most teams) have certain off-field records that are far from rosy. It does seem to be you that keeps bringing this up though.

EDIT: We crossed posts, darling ๐Ÿ™„

A_a are you a bit Hung over or something? You seem pretty grumpy. Wales are the only nh team I have seen being slick and well drilled, though against weak opposition. France have been the biggest disappointment so far though the other type of French team may turn up in the quarters! ๐Ÿ™‚

I presume Armitage cited for his swinging arm tackle? A saint he is not. Seems to be a London Irish special if anyone watched the Gloucester v Irish game y'day which hopefully will see a long ban for their number 8 who also has previous

I think you'll find I already have: twice on this occasion, and I think I also pulled you up on it last time you played this very irrelevant card.

Interesting comment. Which team in the RWC do you consider weak? Having matched S.A. practically point for point would say different, especially in a group with 3 teams in the top ten ranked teams in the world.

Really? I see lots of fairly pathetic xenophobic bitterness from most of the other 'home nations' supporters towards England (though they are rubbish ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). And I don't really GAF that much about Rugby Union. My surname is Wynne BTW so I guess I should join in with A_A in being bitter and divisive.

Hartley had to be involved. Armitage would be great if he didnt have such an attitude problem.

Good game at Kingsholme yesterday.
