Anyone else experiencing exceedingly slow deliveries?
Tyre ordered Sun 16 Oct, dispatch e-mail Mon 17, delivered Mon 24
Winter boots ordered Tues 1 Nov, dispatched Wed 2, still no sign
Both sent first class...
If that's all you've got to worry about then you're doing alright.
More not getting a service that has been paid for.
Plus, the tyre was for going on hols so did a week in the Alps on a tyre with a tear in it which was somewhat worrying. And no-one locally does 29er tyres so that wasn't an option.
And my toes were effing freezing yesterday and today.
Obviously your suffering is genuine... 🙂
Personally I think the RM do a top job given the amount of stuff they shift and cop a lot of flak when something is slow.
Postal operatives of Great Britain, we salute you!
More parcels/mail less staff = poor servce sorry but service is getting run down as an excuse to privatise us.Go down to your delivery office and demand your parcel its probably stuck in a York somewhere.
Where do you live?
We seem to get other peoples mail and we dont get ours, customer services said the postman obviously couldnt read.
Sysa lot for the staff employed doesnt it.
Obviously they aren't transplant organs, but the tyre situation for the Alps was far from ideal.
Don't see much point going to sorting office, even if I could midweek. Our local postie and sorting office people seem decent, I suspect the problem is upstream of that.
I'm handling all the incoming mail at work now, (carpal tunnel damage has got me off the Pitney Bowes machine, thankfully), had 48 trays of mail, two Yorks this morning, and there were quite a few letters in there addressed to other businesses, some on our estate. The sorting office is less than 100 yards up the road...
Having said that, I found someone selling a new Belstaff Trialmaster jacket on Gumtree, ordered it and sent Paypal money 1am Thursday morning when I got home from London, had an email at 9am to say he'd posted it, and it arrived at 8.15am Friday. I was bloody impressed.
