I have managed to forget my password for wireless connection to my modem/router (and cant get connected to it by ethernet to change settings for some unexplainable reason) so last chance is a fcatory reset and set new password.

If I do this, what information will I need to supply? Any details / password for my BT internet account or similar? Any previous settings? Just concerned because when i hit the button I won't have any other access to find these things out!

you'll need your BT userID & password, everything else (settings wise) will be available on the internet.
Oh I see... so search out the BT page for setting you modem up correctly, print that off first & locate you orignal BT details letter.

Cheers Z1ppy. I guess as long as I have the userID and password the rest is self explanatory? Will it be asking me questions about WPA/WPA2 and other alien stuff?

If you reset it then it will forget the WAP security and you will have to set it up again which is straightforward.
