The bars are almost new and its a bargain compared to the price of genuine ones from a dealer.
looked on parcelforce and they should be able to do it for £ 13.67 plus vat so about £16.50 (see pic above- don't know why its up there..) which seems ok considering they could pick up from the seller.
anyone done similar? Can anyone recommend another courier as I've only ever really posted small bike bits via parcelforce.

I recently sold some Thule bars and a footpack on eBay - postage to a UK address via Parcelforce 48hr cost about £16.50 from memory.

I've been looking up similar recently, a rifle case. Parcelforce is the most accessible, available at every PO, FEDEX and Citylink also do it iirc, but at a far higher price.
Most (cheap) couriers have a limit of 1.2m long.

Try interparcel or parcel2go.
They use TNT or UPS amongst others.
Always been good for me and relatively cheap compared to Royal Mail etc
