My shopping trip to Manchester was ruined by a text from the internet's Derek Starship informing me that Richard Briers had passed away.
I checked when I got home and apparently he is alive and well.

Not yet he isn't but just wait till we get this cold snap at the end of the week. All those OAPs will be dropping like flies.
